    Additionally, you’ll work with clients that define the industry, as we work closely with companies that are changing the world--from small start-ups to large, public entities. You decide where you fit into the equation. Your day-to-day will involve working with our client’s executives--CFO’s, VP’s of Finance, and Controllers, as opposed to working with a client’s Tax Department. Lastly, Armanino’s open door policy will allow you access to Partners and Directors who are heavily involved in mentoring and training employees.

    What You’ll Do

    • Review of Corporate, Partnership, Trust, International, Real Estate and Individual tax returns
    • Conduct online tax research
    • Accounting work needed for tax returns
    • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with client senior management
    • Develop solutions for clients and champion the implementation of ideas
    • Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope and work plan with client
    • Identify assignment resource requirements and ensure the most appropriate resources are assigned to specific assignment roles
    • Anticipate, identify and resolves complex assignment issues
    • Seek regular client assessment of assignment progress and overall feedback on performance
    • Work with the partner group to generate leads, contacts and sales
    • Manage groups to ensure profitability in the short and long term
    • Support the partner team in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements
    • Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice unit strategy, objectives, and budgets
    • Identify and develop new initiatives to increase retention, meet resourcing needs, utilization and people development
    • Build on strong coaching skills to mentor key talent
    • Share and transfer knowledge and skills to the team
    • Engage in ongoing personal development in line with the competency model

     What You’ll Bring

     

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline, Masters in Taxation preferred
    • 5+ years of US tax consulting/ compliance experience in public accounting. Experience with a wide variety of entity types
    • CPA license required
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Strong selling skills – generating leads, making contacts and securing clients
    • Strong project management and leadership skills including the ability to successfully coach and mentor talented people
    • Technical proficiency in tax software applications
    • Strong research, writing and analytical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience in delivery of quality client service
