WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

As a Staff Accountant at Armanino you will be exposed to a multitude of clients in a variety of industries including Technology, Nonprofit, Healthcare, Financial Services, as wells as many others. Beyond gaining vast exposure to various types of clients, you will continuously enhance your professional development through our leading training program, Armanino U. Armanino U provides extensive technical training as well as soft skills training to help make you a successful, well-rounded professional.

 

  • Review and analyze client data and prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust and Individual tax returns on behalf of clients
  • Research and analyze changes in tax regulation and develop tax planning skills
  • Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support client engagements
  • Work with a team of 2-4 professionals on client projects (staff, senior, manager and partner)
  • Create appropriate journal entries and prepare clean and accurate workpapers
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
  • Develop an understanding of and capability in accounting, financial and database software
  • Follow policies and procedures addressed in the Human Resources Manual, as well as other Firm directives
  • Develop administrative, professional and interpersonal skills to the extent of being able to organize, analyze and communicate with others in a productive and efficient manner

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required for intern and entry-level positions.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s or Certificate Program in Accounting
  • Planning to graduate in the next year with CPA Exam eligibility or completion
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Must have a car (this position requires traveling to Armanino offices and client sites) (TBD due to Covid-19)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to utilize research tools in order to efficiently ascertain information
  • Ability to problem-solve and analyze basic issues
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and clients

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose the pay range for job openings in Colorado. This is the typical range of pay for the position; however, actual pay may vary based on experience and skill-set. Compensation Range: $51,000-$68,500. Sign-on bonuses may also be offered as part of the compensation package.
