We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Private Client Advisor practice.



  • Preparation and review of tax returns
  • Conduct online tax research
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with client senior management
  • Develop solutions for clients and champion the implementation of ideas
  • Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope and work plan with client
  • Identify assignment resource requirements and ensure the most appropriate resources are assigned to specific assignment roles
  • Anticipate, identify and resolves complex assignment issues
  • Seek regular client assessment of assignment progress and overall feedback on performance
  • Work with the partner group to build and maintain a network of relevant professionals to the high net worth practice through one on one networking as well as participating and attending meetings for relevant organizations
  • Manage groups to ensure profitability in the short and long term
  • Support the partner team in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements
  • Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice unit strategy, objectives, and budgets
  • Identify and develop new initiatives to increase retention, meet resourcing needs, utilization and people development
  • Build on strong coaching skills to mentor key talent
  • Share and transfer knowledge and skills to the team
  • Engage in ongoing personal development in line with the competency model
  • Provide billing and collection assistance to the partners as well as understand the budgeting process for large client groups.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline, Masters in Taxation preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting. Experience with a wide variety of entity types
  • CPA license required (J.D. also accepted)
  • Advanced understanding of planning and compliance concepts related to high net worth individual and fiduciary income tax, gift tax, and estate tax
  • Possess a strong knowledge of accounting theory and federal, state and local tax laws
